After going for the ‘engineering, procurement and construction’ route to redevelop New Delhi, CSMT and Ahmedabad stations, Indian Railways is looking to go back to its public private partnership for upgrading 16 stations.
These stations will include Anand Vihar, Nizamuddin, Old Delhi, Vijaywada, Dadar and Kalyaan.
Pune, Coimbatore, Bangalore city, Baroda, Bhopal and Chennai central too have been identified for revamp.
The bid value of these 16 stations would be over 10000 crore rupees.

It was adopted with 20 nations voting in favour and seven against.
While China and Pakistan voted against, among the 20 nations that abstained were Japan and Nepal.
India abstained on Thursday from voting in the UNHRC on a proposal by the West seeking a debate on human rights abuses in Xinjiang, China.
