PM Modi on Friday inducted into the Indian Navy its first fully Made-in-India aircraft carrier INS Vikrant.
It is the largest warship to be built in the country.
PM Modi also unveiled a new shivaji maharaj inspired naval ensign to go with it.
PM Modi termed it a tribute to the rising spirits of India on the global horizon and a symbolic shedding of the burden of the slavery.
INS Vikrant has been built at Cochin Shipyard limited, where mammoth warship built at a cost of ₹20000 crore in 13 years.

Starbucks, the storied global coffee house from Seattle has hired former McKinsey and Pepsi executive Laxmam Narasimhan as its next CEO.
Laxmam is currently the CEO of British Conglomerate Reckitt Benckiser, will quit on September 30 and move from London to Seattle in October.
He is a graduate from college of engineering Pune, in Mechanical engineering.

Madhya pradesh reported the highest number of psychopaths and serial killing cases in the country in 2021, according to the recently released report of the National crime records bureau (NCRB).
As per the NCRB report, violent crimes in the states have increased by 11.8% as compared to 2020.
The state recorded 26038 violent crimes in 2021 as against 23,287 cases in 2020.
Of the total 13 psychopaths and serial killing cases reported in the country in 2021, four cases were reported in MP followed by Chhattisgarh (3) and Tamil nadu (2).
