# Air quality index

• Delhi’s air quality improved marginally on Sunday over the previous day but the share of stubble smoke in the city’s PM 2. 5 climbed to the highest this year at 26%.
• Experts are forecasting that pollution levels are soon likely to slip into the severe level.
• Meanwhile, the Indian Institute of tropical meteorology said Delhi’s air quality is likely to oscillate between severe to very poor in the next few days.

# PM Modi

• PM Narendra Modi is likely to announce soon the setting up of a “museum of royal kingdoms”, acknowledging the contributions of erstwhile Royal families who integrated their states with India after independence.
• PM Modi is slated to address the people on the occasion of “national unity Day” on Monday, the birth anniversary of Sardar vallabhbhai patel.
• The proposed museum, a first of its kind acknowledging the contribution of the 562 princely states of the country in giving the current shape to India.

# Telangana

• Telangana has become the 10th state to withdraw the general consent to the Central bureau of investigation.
• Telangana government’s two months old order was cited in the court in the wake of the cash for MLA scandal in which BJP is demanding an investigation by the central agency.
• Under Delhi special police establishment act, 1946, general consent of a state government is necessary for CBI to work under the state government.

# Taiwan

• A Taiwan deputy minister will visit India next werk for talks on expanding economic cooperation with India.
• Chen chern chi, who will lead a delegation of businessmen and investors, is a deputy minister with the ministry of economic affairs of Taiwan.
