Girls in classes 3,5,8 and 10 performed better than boys in most subjects in Delhi, findings of national achievement survey 2021 reveal.
However, when it comes to mathematics, boys seemed ahead in mathematics.
Interestingly, at the class 10 level, the performance of girls in the capital was much higher compared with the national average, mathematics being an exception.
The survey was conducted in November 2021 where 1602 schools and 64069 students participated in Delhi.

The United States surpassed China to become India’s top trading partner in 2021-22.
According to commerce ministry data, in 2021-22, the trade between the US and India stood at $119.42 billion as against $80.51 billion in 2020-21.
Exports to the US rose to $76.11 billion in 2021-22 from $51.62 billion in previous fiscal.
Imports rose to $43.31 billion as compared to $29 billion in 2020-21.
India’s two way commerce with China aggregated at $115 billion as compared to $86 billion in 2020-21.
# Monsoon
The South West (summer) monsoon arrived in Kerala on Sunday, three days ahead of its normal date of onset (1 june).
Indian meteorological department has already predicted normal and well distributed rainfall throughout the country.
The monsoon map released by the IMD shows the seasonal rains will reach Western Uttar pradesh, Delhi and parts of Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan during june 25-30.

Public sector banks have doubled their net profits during financial year 2021-22.
The collective profit of 12 state owned banks during 2021-22 worked out to Rs 66539 crores, an increase of over 110% in FY 21.
