The post covid revival in air traffic is seeing IGI airport rapidly climb up the chart of most busiest airport.
It is currently the world’s 10th busiest airport in terms of seat deployment by scheduled airlines on both domestic and international rules.
This data has been released by the UK based air consultancy firm OAG’s busiest airport report.
At 47.5 lakh seats deployment by scheduled airlines this month, Atlanta remains the busiest airport globally, followed by followed by Dubai and Tokyo.
# India-China relations
India has lined up a flurry of combat exercises before the year ends to further boost military interoperability with friendly countries.
Warships ,submarines, fighter aircraft and helicopters will be deployed by India, US, Japan and Australia off Yokosuka in Japan from November 8 to 18 for the top notch malabar exercise.
With India also steadily enhancing military ties with Australia their army will now also conduct first ever ‘Austra-Hindi’ infantry combat exercise.
# World bank
There is some good news for Indian policy makers battling high energy prices, with the world Bank projecting a decline in energy prices by 11% in 2023 after surging by about 60% in 2022.
It also flagged a major risk, saying shrinking values of currencies of most of the developing economies is driving up food and fuel prices.

Iranian security forces opened fire at mourners who gathered in Mahsa Admini’s Kurdish hometown of saqez to mark 40 days since he died in police custody.
Iran’s semi official ISNA agency said about 10000 people had gathered at the cemetery.
