# Rajasthan
Rajasthan on Tuesday passed a landmark Right to health (RTH) bill under which private hospitals will not be able to charge emergency patients and will be compensated by the state.
Doctors from private hospitals are protesting against the decision and the protests are now joined by the government doctors.
The bill will become a law after being signed by the governor.
Rajasthan will become the first state in the country to guarantee such a right to health to its residents through a statute.
# Rajya Sabha
The centre’s direct and indirect tax wings have seized immovable property valued at over ₹1 lakh crore, but disposed off assets to the tune of ₹71 crore, the government told in Rajya Sabha.
Many cases were properties are seized have been challenged in courts and cannot be disposed until settled by courts.
The ED has also secured confiscation of proceeds of crime of ₹15600 crore.
