# India – Japan relations

  • India and Japan set an investment target of trillion yen Or 42 billion dollars in the next five years.
  • The prime ministers of India and Japan announced this after meeting in New Delhi for the 14th annual summit.
  • The two sides discussed various regional issues during the meeting.
  • However, the stance of both the countries on Ukraine issue was not the same.

# Kashmiri pandits

  • Union home minister Amit shah reviewed the progress of rehabilitation of Kashmiri hindus during a meeting with Jammu and Kashmir lieutenant governor Amit shah.
  • According to the home ministry, only 17% of the proposed accommodation for Kashmiri pandits has been completed in the past seven years.
  • The central government had announced the development package in 2015, which had approved the creation of 3000 government jobs for Kashmiri pandits in Jammu and Kashmir.

# Myanmar

  • Myanmar will resume international passenger flights from April 17, the military said on Saturday.
  • Myanmar is lifting ban on international flights after two years.
