Defence minister Rajnath singh will head to Egypt on Sunday on a three day official visit to explore new initiatives to intensify military to military engagements and focus on deepening cooperation between defence industries of the two countries.
Egypt is among countries that has shown interest in acquiring arms produced by India including Akash missile systems.

Turkiye is seeking membership to the China led Shanghai cooperation organization.
Turkiye president Erdogan made the announcement after attending the SCO summit in Uzbekistan.
