High speed winds, heavy rain and high tidal waves swept the coastal belt of Kerela, Karnataka and Goa due to cyclone Tauktae.
According to the IMD, Tauktae has intensified into a ” very severe cyclonic storm”.
It will further intensify during the next 24 hours and reach the Gujarat coast on monday evening.
