# Heritage trees
The Maharashtra cabinet on thursday passed an action plan to protect and preserve trees older than 50 years in urban areas by terming them heritage trees.

# US to donate vaccine
The US will purchase half a billion doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech covid-19 vaccine and donate them to 92 low and middle income countries and the African union.
The vaccines will be shipped from August onwards, with 200 million doses distributed this year and 300 million by the middle of next year.
