# International travel

  • Fully vaccinated international passengers from 82 countries will be permitted quarantine free entry from February 14, ministry of health and family welfare said on Thursday.
  • The requirement of compulsory on arrival testing for passengers from certain countries identified as ‘at risk’ will also be removed.
  • According to the latest guidelines of the ministry of health and family welfare, quarantine free entry for fully vaccinated passengers from certain countries is based on the principles of reciprocity.

# Reserve Bank of India

  • The Reserve Bank of India on Thursday decided to keep the bench mark repo rate unchanged at 4℅.
  • RBI reiterated its accommodative policy stance in a bid to ensure economic recovery from Covid-19.
  • The improving outlook outlook for inflation gave RBI room to focus on growth.

# Defense land survey

  • The Directorate general Defense estates (DGDE) has completed the exercise of surveying the 17.8 lakh acres of defense land.

# Russia

  • Russia rolled its tanks across Belarus on Thursday for live fire drills that drew a warning from NATO and added urgency to western efforts to avert a feared invasion of Ukraine.

  • Indonesia will order 42 Rafale fighter jets, confirmed French Defense minister.
