# Future-reliance deal

 

 

 

  • The Delhi high court on Tuesday provided interim relief to e-commerce major amazon by directing future retail limited (FRL) to maintain status quo with regard to transfer of its retail assets to reliance retail.
  • The Delhi high court also said that an order of the emergency arbitrator (EA) at the singapore international arbitration center restraining FRL from taking any steps to transfer its retail assets was enforceable in India.

 

 

 

# Aero India

 

 

 

  • The annual air show “aero India” is starting on 3rd february.
  • This Aero India will witness the delegation of defense ministries from 29 countries of IOR, including Iran.
  • The formal document of purchase of 83 LCA tejas will also be signed between IAF and HAL at this event.

 

 

 

 

# NPR,Census

 

 

 

  • The union home ministry has informed a parliament panel that ‘right kind of messaging will be done to tackle the miscommunication and rumours around NPR and census.
  • A 360 degree approach for communicating the right and clear message on the NPR has been planned to be followed.

 

 

 

 

# CAA rules

 

 

 

  • The MHA informed lok sabha on tuesday that parliamentary committee on subordinate legislation has granted its extension till April 9 to frame CAA act 2019 rules.
  • Without the rules being notified the act remains ineffective.

 

 

 

 

# Jal jeevan mission

 

 

 

  • The urban affairs ministry said that the urban water supply announced this budget on monday will include rejuvenation of water bodies and 20% of supply from reused water.
  • The ministry said there was an estimated gap of 2.68 crore urban household tap connections that the jal jeevan mission (urban) would seek to bridge in all 4378 statutory towns.

 

 

 

 

# East container terminal, colombo

 

 

 

  • Srilanka backed out of an agreement with India and Japan to develop ECT.
  • A tripartite agreement was signed between Srilanka ports authority, India and Japan to jointly develop ECT of colombo.
  • The SLPA would have 51% share and 49% of share would have been with India and Japan.
