# Vaccine rollout

• Union health secretary Rajesh Bhushan said on tuesday that covid-19 vaccine for older people (above 50 years) is expected to start soon.

• Also, immunisation or vaccination will see more private sector participation.

• He informed that, approximately 10000 hospitals are being used for administering vaccines in a day. Out of these, 2000 hospitals are private.

• The states and union territories have rolled out the intensified mission indradhanush (IMI).

• This scheme will cover children and pregnant women who missed routine immunusation during the covid-19 pandemic.

• Beneficiaries from migration areas and remote areas would be target as they may have missed their vaccine doses during pandemic.

# Anti-dumping duty

• The commerce ministry’s investigation arm Directorate general of trade remedies had initiated a probe to review the need for continuing imposition of anti dumping duties on certain types of steel products imported from china.

• Some private companies have filed an application before the DGTR for a sunset review of anti dumping duty imposed on imports of seamless tubes, pipes and hollow profiles of iron, alloy or non-alloy steel from china.
