The solicitor general of India Tushar Mehta informed the supreme court that Tamil Nadu governor Banwarilal purohit will take a decision “as per the constitution” in the next three or four days on a plea for release by “A.G Perarivalan”.
A.G Perarivalan is undergoing life imprisonment for the assasination of former PM Rajiv Gandhi in 1991.
The petition of release was filed by A.G Perarivalan under article 161 of the constitution of India.
