# Donald Trump

  • In a landmark event that could either propel him back to the white House in 2024 or put him in prison for years, former President Donald Trump was arrested and produced before a new York court on multiple criminal charges relating to hush money payments to a porn star.
  • Trump is the first former US President to be arrested on Criminal charges.
  • He was spared the Ignominy of handcuffs and mugshot that are typically mandatory for Felony charges although he was reportedly finger printed.
  • The judge hearing the case forbade live TV cameras in Court.

# World Bank

  • World Bank and Asian Development bank on Tuesday lowered the growth projection for the current fiscal year.
  • World Bank cited weak global conditions and higher interest rates as the reason for that.
