The Delhi High court on Monday dismissed a bunch of pleas challenging the centre’s agnipath scheme.
High court called it a policy decision taken with “national security” in mind in order to meet the objectives of creating an armed force that is agile, youthful, physically fit and mentally alert.
The high court said the courts can’t and should not delve into the appropriateness of such policy decisions.

These six twin aisle A350s were ready for Aeroflot but after the war on Ukraine and Sanctions on Russia, airbus cannot deliver them to the airline.
These planes will now come to Air India this year in the configuration as Aeroflot had ordered them.

Despite being one of the largest immigrant groups in the US, Americans of Indian descent were barely represented in politics.
Ten years later, the Congress sworn in last month includes five Indian Americans, nearly 50 are in state legislatures.

Nepal’s second largest party in Parliament CPN-UML on Monday withdrew its support to PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal prachanda – led government following a rift over backing the main opposition party’s candidate for the presidential poll.
Nepal’s presidential election will be held on March 9.
