A Kashmiri pandit working as a bank guard was shot dead by terrorists in South Kashmir’s pulwama district on Sunday.
This is the first attack since October last year on the community that along with migrant workers had faced a spate of targeted strikes in the valley.
According to official data, the valley recorded 29 targeted attacks on civiliy in 2022,resulting in 19 deaths.

The CBI on Sunday arrested Delhi deputy CM Manish sisodiya in connection with their probe into the alleged irregularities in the framing and implementation of the now withdrawn excise policy 2021-22.
The move triggered a political storm in the capital with aap alleging vendetta.
Sisodiya, accused number 1 in CBI’s FIR was put under arrest at 7:15 pm after seven hours of questioning.
The agency decided to arrest Sisodiya after he allegedly gave evasive replies and did not cooperate in the investigation.

Prime minister Narendra Modi will on Monday release the 13th installment amount of more than ₹16800 to over 8 crore beneficiary farmers under the income support scheme.
Under the scheme, ₹6000 is annually released directly into each of the eligible land owner farmers.
