He is almost confirmed to be the head of World Bank as the US decides who will head the multilateral agency.
The son of retired lieutenant general of Indian Army Harbhajan singh banga, Ajay Banga will succeed David Malpass.
He will be the second non white American after Jim yong kim to head the bank.
