Counter terrorism efforts, increasing Radicalization and cyber security were among the issues that dominated PM Narendra Modi’s dialogue with Egyptian President Abdel fatah al sisi.
The summit also saw India and Egypt elevating there relationship to the level of strategic partnership in an effort to ramp up defense, political, energy and economic ties.
The two countries also signed five MOUs including one for cooperation in cyber security and discussed ways to strengthen food and health care security.

# Padma awards
SP founder Mulaayam singh yadav, iconic architect Baalkrishna Doshi and Dilip Mahalanabis, who pioneered the use of ORS have been posthumously awarded Padma vibhushan, India’s second highest civilian award.
Other awardees are Tabla maestro Zakir Hussain, mathematician Srinivas vardhan and former union minister and ex karnataka CM SM Krishna.
Nine persons have been chosen for Padma bhushan including industrialist kumar Manglam birla and philanthropist and Infosys foundation chairperson Sudha murty.
