# TTD

  • Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), the richest hindu endowment body in the world, has announced that it owns 960 properties across the country valued at ₹ 85705 crores.
  • According to officials, the figure has been arrived at as per government calculation and that the actual market value of the properties would be atleast 1.5 times higher, around ₹2 lakh crore.
  • TTD is constructing a huge temple on a 10 acre plot worth ₹500 crore in Navi mumbai.
  • Temple across 60 acres has been planned near vaishno devi.

# UNGA

  • External affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, in his UNGA address, slammed China for blocking international sanctions on Pakistan based terrorists as he stressed the needs to follow a zero tolerance policy on terror.
  • He said there is no justification for any act of terror, regardless of movitation and no rhetoric, however sanctimonious, can ever cover up blood stains.
  • Those who politicise the UNSC 1267 sanctions regime, sometimes to the extent of defending proclaimed terrorists, do so at their own peril.

# Elon musk

  • Space X CEO Elon musk said on Friday that he would activate the firm’s satellite internet services, starlink, in response to US secretary for State Antony Blinken’s tweet that the US took action “to advance internet freedom and the free flow of information” to Iranians.
  • Musk had said on Monday that the Starlink wanted to provide internet services to Iranians, and asked for waiver from sanctions.

# Kashmir

  • Two migrant labourers were shot at and injured by terrorists in South kashmir’s Pulwama district.
  • Both the workers were the residents of Bihar.
