The election Commission of India on Saturday decided to continue the ban on large rallies and roadshows till January 31 for the assembly elections in February.
Election commission has allowed outdoor meetings of upto 500 persons for candidates of the first two phases of polling.
The election commission had placed a ban on all physical rallies and processions while announcing the Goa, Manipur, Punjab, Uttar pradesh and Uttarakhand elections on January 8.
