A day after a man was beaten to death over an alleged sacrilege attempt at the golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab, a mob killed a person on Sunday for allegedly desecrating the sikh religious flag at a gurudwara in kapurthala.
The police, however said that the initial investigation indicates that no sacrilege has been committed in the Nijampura gurudwara and the case could be that of theft.
The person who was accused of sacrilege, has been beaten to death.

A regional conference of foreign ministers of central Asian countries in Delhi on Sunday proposed the use of India-run terminal at the chabahar port in Iran as a route for trade.
The conference was hosted by external affairs ministers S. Jaishankar which included foreign ministers of five central Asian countries.
The conference also discussed ways to immediately provide humanitarian assistance to afghanistan.
