# Assam-Mizoram border

 

 

  • Six Assam police personnel were killed in an exchange of fire with Mizoram police.
  • The border dispute between two north eastern states took a violent turn on monday.
  • Assam and mizoram share borders nearly 164 km in three districts.

 

 

 

# National mission for clean ganga

 

 

  • The national mission for clean ganga had conceived as a 20000 crore programme in 2014 to clean up the holy river ganga.
  • A total of 15074 crore has been allocated so far.
  • Uttar pradesh at 3535 crore, has received the most funds followed by Bihar at 2631 crore, Bengal 1030 crore and uttarakhand 1001 crore.

 

 

 

# FASTags

 

 

  • More than 3.54 crore FASTags have been issued in the country.
  • After declaration of all lanes as FASTags lanes, the overall FASTags penetration has reached 96%.
  • The FASTags works with the electronic payments system developed by the National payments corporation of India.

 

 

 

# Revenue from monuments

 

 

  • Ticket sales at monuments fell from 336 crore in 2019-20 to a little over 40 crore rupees in 2020-21.
  • Archaeological survey of India maintains 3693 monuments across the country, 143 of them are ticketed.

  • High commodity prices have boosted the value of India’s exports.
  • India’s export have hit a record $95 billion in the first quarter of 2021.
