For the first time, a terrorist attack was carried on an IAF installation in Jammu using a drone or Unmanned aerial vehicle.
On sunday morning, two low-intensity explosions were reported in the technical area of the Jammu air force station.
Defence sources said, the attackers may have been operating the drone in close vicinity of the airbase as the quadcopter believed to have been used has limited range.
