# G7 meet

 

 

  • India argued in favour of the arguements that Internet freedoms are subject to national security.
  • India’s tough negotiations on the joint communique issued by G7 and guest countries at the sessions on open socities has ensured that the original language criticising “internet shutdowns” was amended to include New Delhi’s concerns.
  • The explanations came after the G7 and guest countries : 2021 open societies statements ” referred to politically motivated internet shutdowns”, which indirectly addresses internet blackouts in various parts of the world including India.

  • US vaccine manufacturer Novavax said its covid-19 vaccine has shown an overall afficacy of 90.4% in trial in the US and Mexico.
  • The Maryland based company, has done its trials on 30000 persons in US and Mexico.

 

 

 

# Vedic education board

 

 

  • The congress government in Rajasthan will set up a vedic education and sanskar board.
  • It will help in reviving the knowledge of ancient sanskrit scriptures and connect the learnings of the vedas with science and yoga.
