# Islamic state

There are four Indian women lodged in an Afghanistan prison, who went to Afghanistan to fight as Islamic state terrorist.
Indian government is unlikely to allow these women terrorists to return to India.
These women, all from Kerela, travelled to Nangorhar in Afghanistan between 2016 and 2018.
Their husbands were killed in different conflicts in Afghanistan.
An interview conducted by a strategic affairs website found that these women terrorists are highly radicalised and unfit to join the mainstream.

Karnataka high court has upheld the competition commission of India’s January 2020 orders to conduct an investigation through director general.
Investigation is regarding anti-competitive measures taken by Amazon and flipkart in violation of competition act 2002.

Odisha’s turmeric farmers have found a foot hold in a market than promises perrenial return for their organic crop.
The turmeric grown in Laxmipur block of Koraput district is distinct as it contains Curcumin between between 5.5% and 6.66%.

# Kulbhushan Jadhav

Pakistan’s national assembly passed a bill to provide the right of appeal to death row prisoner Kulbhushan Jadhav amidst a ruckus and boycott by the opposition.
This bill is aimed at allowing Jadhav to have consular access in line with the ICJ verdict.
Jadhav, a 51 year old retired Indian navy officer, was sentenced to death by a pakistan military court on charges of espionage and terrorism in April 2017.
