# Vaccination 3.0

• Several states have postponed the scheduled may 1 rollout of phase 3 of the covid-19 immunisation for those between 18-44 years.

• Delhi government has said that 1.5 crore doses have been ordered. As soon as it will be received, whole delhi will be vaccinated in 3 months.

• The Tamil nadu government also deffered the rollout as it had not yet received the required vaccines from the central government.

# Social media

• The supreme court on friday warned the  state government and the police against clamping down on the spread of information or calls for help through social media from citizens affected by covid-19.

• Supreme court said that ” clampdown of information” will be treated as contempt of court.

# Former attorney general

• Eminent jurist and former attorney general of India Soli Sorabjee passed away on friday due to covid-19.

• Mr. Sorabjee was born on march 9, 1930 in erstwhile Bombay to a parsi family.

• He appeared in several historic cases, including the Keshwanand Bharti case or basic structure doctrine case.

• He received the padma vibhushan for championing free speech and human rights.

# Rajasthan oxygen allocation

• Rajasthan government on friday sought the allocation of 201 MT of oxygen from the centre on an emergency basis.

• Rajasthan government said that oxygen projects will be exempted from regulatory approvals and inspections for three years.

# India-China relations

• China’s president xi jinping on friday sent a message to PM Narendra modi offering China’s support in dealing with the ongoing covid crisis.

• This is xi jinping’s first such known communication between two leaders following the pandemic and last year’s border crisis.

# Remdesivir allocation

• The government on friday announced an enhanced allocation of the drug remdesivir to states.

• Remdesivir production has enhanced from 16 lakh to 18 lakh in 10 days.
