Due to the surge in covid-19 cases, the class 12 examinations of the CBSE have been postponed.
The class 10 examination have been cancelled, the education ministry said on wednesday.
Both exams were scheduled to be held from may 4 to june 14.
The CBSE will review the decision on june 1. Then, CBSE will give notice about class 12th exams.
# Haryana state quota law
After the information technology sector in Gurugram expressed strong reservations about the new law guranteeing 75% jobs in private sector.
The garment sector has also requested the Haryana government to exempt their sector from their quota law.
Garments exporters and manufacturers associations( GEMA) has revealed that more than 82% may not consider Haryana for expansion in case the new law is not repealed.
They believe that they would not be able to source adequate skilled strength from Haryana only.
# S-400 deal
India and Russia are committed to completing their contract for the s-400 missile system.
S-400 system is due to be delivered in India at the end of the year.
Russian ambassador to India also said that Russia and India are not on the same page regarding the Indo-pacific strategy.
# Singapore’s foreign minister
Singapore’s foreign minister Vivian Balakrishnan said he hoped India should reasses its stand on regional trading agreement.
He was speaking on the backdrop of India not joining the RCEP past in 2019.
Singapore’s foreign minister was speaking at the Raisina dialogue, hold virtually this year by ORF.
# QUAD
Indian navy chief Admiral Krambir singh said that the quad navies already enjoy a high degree of interoperability.
He also said that Indian ocean region is seeing an increasing presence of chinese navy.
